I'm not sure I'd call him a hero. He certainly didn't have fond things to say about Witchcraft.
Neither did Dion Fortune or hardly anyone else that was writing before the revival. Remember before the 1950's there simply was no wicca or open witchcraft about which to speak.
Well, that's true, I suppose. And he was a friend of Crowley's.
Did I read somewhere that he was a closet satanist?Or is my memory faulty?
